Expo East Offers Product Safety Aware Courses Ahead of Deadline
Expo East 2015 begins this week at the Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City, NJ, and before the trade show floor opens on Friday, all exhibitors must attain Product Safety Aware (PSA) status. While the majority of exhibitors have achieved PSA status and have designated a Product Safety Ambassador, a number of opportunities will be available at Expo East for companies looking to earn the required credits.
Education will be offered in Room 410 of the convention center from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday for companies still needing to complete courses ahead of the show’s opening, and Thursday’s education schedule will include a number of PSA-required courses as part of Expo East’s education programming. To participate in Wednesday’s PSA offerings, click here.
As part of the PSA program, every member company wanting to gain access to the PPAI marketplace – as a sponsor, advertiser, trade-show exhibitor, etc. – regardless of membership category, is required to complete a minimum of four hours of product safety education no later than the start of Expo East 2015. For a company to attain the Product Safety Aware status, its Product Safety Ambassador must complete four hours of product safety education, including three specific sessions – Product Safety Basics, Prop 65 and State Regulations, and Undue Influence Training – and an additional session from an approved list.
