PromoCorner Is Product Safety Compliant

Blue Generation's Donald L. Rubin, 91 
Apparel manufacturer Blue Generation announced the recent passing of one of its founders, Donald L. Rubin.

Don founded M. Rubin & Sons together with his father, Milton, in 1944, as manufacturers of military uniforms and outerwear. They were later joined by brothers Bob and Phil, and later Phil’s son, Eric.

Don presided over the company as president for more than 60 years, and enjoyed his retirement until the age of 91.  "There was a family affection and harmony among us that allowed us to work together for over six decades," said Phil Rubin. "His legacy will continue to live in our hearts forever."

Starline Names Jon Norris VP of Operations

Starline announced the promotion of Jon Norris to vice president of operations. In this new position, he will be working closely with the production department and client services team. Jon has worked at Starline for 11 years in which he has served in the roles of industrial engineer and most recently systems operation manager. He is actively involved in the promotional products industry, having served on the PPAI Technology Committee for the past five years and presently is its chairman.
