Royal Industries Acquires Waldor Products

Royal Industries of Brooklyn, NY announced it has purchased Jersey City, NJ-based Waldor Products.
The Waldor Line will be integrated into Royal's offerings and inventory and production equipment will be moved to the Brooklyn facility. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

"The acquisition of The Waldor Line is the perfect complement to Royal's line, which includes vinyl specialties from card cases and clipboards, portfolios and pocket planners," Ari Ruden, vice president of Royal, said. "We are known for anything and everything vinyl, including our new incredibly-priced vinyl jar openers.

"We are excited to add the unique products The Waldor Line has to offer to the promotional products industry, such as cosmetic bags, combs, shopping bags/totes, purses, as well as its extensive collection of cell phone and credit card cases," Ruden added. 

Stephen Spiegel, former owner of Waldor said, "Both Royal and Waldor have been friendly competitors for decades and just as Waldor's a leader in pocket and purse items for the industry, Royal holds the same esteem in vinyl products and it was just a great match up."
